Meaning: Badis Ben Habus Amazigh king the founder of Alahambra palace in Granada Spain.

Description: Hanbel is made through a flat-weave process whereby the weaver threads the weft back and forth through the wrap until the rug or pillow is finished.

Symbology: The main symbol in this Hanbel is the birth symbol: the broken double hooks. It's supposed to portray the position of the woman while delivering, the two hooks represent the open arms, the middle represents the woman’s chest, and the pointy triangular shape on the middle represents the newly born.

The birth symbol is surrounded by male elements ( ladders) and diamond shapes (female element representing the woman’s womb)
