Taj Red Solitaire

Meaning: The Crown

Material: Real Moroccan leather, Vintage Berber Shawl, vintage old red Berber solitaire coins.

Symbology: This fine artisanal piece is intended to portray the simplicity of the berber society. We decided to use natural none-died leather along with several local elements. 

The Solitaire is a very common piece of jewelry in the berber community, women used to collect them and stack them into necklaces. 

The rounded shape coin along with the jewel in the middle of it were to saved for harsh times. To the sides of the purse there are peacock bands taken from a traditional shawl used by the Amazigh women during special occasions.
